The problem: Create a hand lettered design of a word or phrase with a minimum of 5 letters that will be cleaned up in illustrator.
I chose the word "seldoon," which is noodles written backwards, because it has personal history for me. I wanted to highlight the reversal of the word, by making it readable both right side up and upside down. I was inspired by ambigrams, though my design isn't a true ambigram since it doesn't read the same both ways. I made both the S and N capital letters to further emphasize that it is meant to be read from both directions. I did also explore an option for keeping all letters lowercase, but the idea came across more clearly with the uppercase letters.
